What is craniosacral therapy?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy was developed from Osteopathic principles. It is a gentle, non invasive modality that supports the body’s natural ability to heal and balance.
The craniosacral practitioner deeply listens to the subtle rhythms of the craniosacral system. These rhythms reflect how life moves through the body.
During a session the practitioner will meet you with awareness and presence. A safe, receptive space is created for the body to release long-held physical, mental and emotional patterns.
One of the most profound aspects is the potential to experience deep stillness. This is a rich and spacious state where the body can enter deep relaxation, reorganisation and restoration.
How can it help?
The biodynamic approach treats holistically. Anyone can benefit at any stage of life.
By listening to the whole person, the body’s intelligence has the opportunity to work on all systems. This makes it suitable for any condition.
Nervous system resilience ~ supports emotional processing in a grounded way.
Pain management ~ works on restrictions in the tissues and fluids. Releases tension and strains in the joints.
Craniosacral imbalances ~ helps with headaches, TMJ, concussion, tinnitus, neck and back issues.
Trauma recovery ~ offers a body-based way to process and integrate traumatic experiences. Including surgery and injuries.
Support for infants ~ birth trauma, colic, feeding and sleeping difficulties.
Overtime you may experience:
a sense of clarity and stillness
more ease in your body
improved sleep
a deeper connection to self
“In the depths of stillness, within the cerebrospinal fluid, lies the wisdom of the body - a wisdom that speaks of health, wholeness and the inherent potential for healing”
